It is a Test Of English for International Communication. It is an "an English language test designed specifically to measure the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment." It is a 2-hour multiple-choice test with 200 questions which measure your listening and reading comprehension. You obtain a score ranging from 10 to 990 points. As this examination is internationally recognised, you can write your score on your CV.

There is an easier version of the exam for beginning and intermediate speakers with only (!) 100 questions: the TOEIC Bridge.
